Liability Waiver
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
Participation in dance classes, rehearsals, workshops, performances, and other physical activities organized by Beats & Bells involves inherent physical risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:
- muscle strain
- slips, trips, or falls
- physical injury
- fatigue or overexertion
By participating in any Beats & Bells activity, the participant or the parent/legal guardian of a minor participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Voluntary Participation
Participation in classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, and other studio activities is voluntary. The participant understands that dance and physical activities carry inherent risks.
2. Physical Capability
The participant confirms that they, or the minor they are registering, are physically capable of participating in dance activities and have no medical conditions that would make participation unsafe.
Participants and parents/guardians agree to inform Beats & Bells of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations that may affect participation.
3. Assumption of Risk
The participant and/or parent or guardian understands and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in dance activities, including potential injuries that may occur during:
- dance classes
- rehearsals
- workshops
- studio events
- performances or competitions
- activities conducted at external venues
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the participant and/or parent or guardian releases and holds harmless Beats & Bells, its instructors, staff, contractors, volunteers, partners, and venue providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of participation in studio activities.
This release applies to all activities conducted by Beats & Bells, whether held at the studio location, partner venues, event spaces, or other facilities.
5. Personal Property
Beats & Bells is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought to classes, rehearsals, workshops, or events.
6. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of a medical emergency, Beats & Bells may seek appropriate medical care for the participant. The parent or guardian agrees to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
7. Agreement to Terms
By enrolling in a Beats & Bells class, workshop, or event, the participant or parent/legal guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Liability Waiver.
